Food and Wine Festival Heads to Myrtle Beach

The city of Myrtle Beach is buzzing with the news of the Coastal Uncorked Food Fight Chef Competition that is scheduled for this spring. Although it isn't until May 16-23, 2010, the thought of an Iron Man Chef competition has been enough to get the taste buds sizzling.

They have already announced some of the activities that will take place and it looks like there will be plenty of fun and excitement. Starting with the kids, there will be culinary events to get them going. And for children of all ages there will be live music in conjunction with culinary events, Coastal Uncorked Food Fight (a cook off), a Coastal Uncorked poster competition, a golf tournament, live entertainment and an area “Restaurant Week” to name a few.

This event was put together by local restaurants and other business as a push to feature the best the Grand Strand has to offer.
