When the Eagles come to play Myrtle Beach, they'll be able to ride their very own roller coaster.
Officials at Myrtle Beach Hard Rock Park today unveiled a new roller coaster themed to the Eagles' 1976 hit "Life in the Fast Lane."
Hard Rock Park of Myrtle Beach is a 55-acre theme park on George Bishop Parkway off of U.S. 501 that bills itself as the world's first rock 'n' roll theme park.
Hard Rock Park will have a limited opening April 15, and company officials say it will be fully operational by May 9.
The Eagles and another band with a themed ride, The Moody Blues, will play at the Myrtle Beach amusement park for a grand opening celebration on June 2 and 3.
Tickets, which are on sale today, cost $250 plus taxes and fees, and they are only available in a package that includes admission to view a celebrity golf tournament, park admission and other goodies.
