• Ideal Location

October 18, 2011 - Location was wonderful, convenient to Broadway at the Beach and the new section by the ferris wheel, hotel staff very friendly, rooms were well stocked with pots and pans, plates, silverware, glasses, etc would have loved a full size refrigeration, we had frozen items that wouldn't fit in the freezer. very nice pools and workout room, balconies large and spacious; excellent views.


• Perhaps one of the best resorts I’ve stayed in.

September 22, 2011 - Staff was very friendly. The guest services rep was very helpful and very nice. The suite we stayed in was great. It had a great view of the ocean, was very clean, much more than what my wife and I were expecting. Great place to stay in while at Myrtle Beach.


• Best place to stay at Myrtle Beach

September 2, 2011 - First of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Be sure to inquire about upgrading as our upgrade was fantastic and very little extra per day! The facility was clean, updated, and lacked the normal stale and musty smell that most beach properties have. We took advantage of a great upgrade to the 2 bedroom condo corner unit with panoramic beach and boardwalk views. It was breathtaking! We took advantage of the hot tub and pool area which we usually skip and were impressed that all security measures were in place and worked properly. We definitely consider this the best place to stay at Myrtle Beach and will absolutely be back to stay again in the near future!


• Great place to stay!

August 14, 2011 - This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach and we loved it. We drove from NY and arrived a few hours earlier than the 4pm check in time but the staff gave us our room right away which was very nice. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the 14th fl. IT WAS PERFECT! I would recommend this hotel and we will most definetly say here again.


• Nice Getaway

July 19, 2011 - The staff here was very helpful. Check in was a breeze and Polo was very helpful with our luggage. The location was excellent. It wasn't far from "the strip." I thought the lazy river and pool was chilly, probably due to the lack of sun but that is my opinion. The rooms were better than what I expected and were cleaned upon our return from the beach. Overall, it was a nice visit and I would definitely consider coming back to this resort.


• Perfect weekend getaway

July 6, 2011 - And not in a bad way. We got our ocean front room with a king size bed. The balcony looked out onto the ocean and pool and it never failed to look more than stunning. The bed was soft and huge and made for a wonderful place to pass out at night after a fun filled day. Getting onto the beach was easy and it was always clean. Overall this was a great experience and we would return again.


• Very nice location and overall a good stay

June 26, 2011 - My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel June 19th around 3, an hour before check in, and had no trouble getting into our room. We had an oceanview king suite and though I'm usually used to having oceanfront, the oceanview was just enough. The kitchen was fully equipped besides a few things we had to buy like a roll of paper towels, dish soap (they provide a packet of crystals for the dish washer but I still prefer washing the dishes in the sink), and coffee filters for the coffee pot. The room was larger than I expected and the beds were as comfy as could be. The outdoor pool wasn't large but to my understanding you can use the pool next door at the Anderson because it is an oceana resorts hotel as well. Yes, the parking garage is across the street but my car was always cool from being protected by the parking garage and I didn't mind walking at all. The hotel is right on the end of Myrtle Beach and we were within five minutes from North Myrtle. This hotel is in a great location and you get what you pay for in a good way. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again.


• Fantastic experience

June 13, 2011 - The check-in process went quickly and smoothly. We were upgraded to an even nicer room due to availability. The night manager on shift, Richard, was extremely helpful and answered every question I had. Breakfast delivered in the morning was high quality. The only slight downside was the location of parking, two streets over. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay. Highly recommended.


• Perfect weekend getaway

May 30, 2011 - We needed to get away for a while. It was the perfect weekend (even though it was bike week). The traffic wasn't too bad. Our room was clean and comfortable. The parking garage was a block over so there was a walk to get the car but we could park in front of the hotel for loading and unloading. Couldn't use the hot tub because there was a reunion or something going on and it was always full of children. Hotel is right on the beach so that more than made up for not being able to use the hot tub. Also had a balcony room just to sit and watch the water. We were able to sit on the beach and do nothing and take long romantic walks, which is why we came in the first place. Thanks Best Western


• Very Nice Experience

May 4, 2011 - We had very good time staying in this hotel. Though there was one very mean lady on the front desk (with curly hair), our mood was not changed at all. Hotel has nice staff - housekeepers, most of front desk people, even security guys. This place doesn't have any breakfast option (except coffee/tea), but it's not big deal, as in one block you can find nice diner. Overall, we'll be happily back.


• A Perfect, Relaxing Vacation

May 2, 2011 - The staff of the Best Western Carolinian went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. The front desk staff was accommodating every step of the way. The valet service was impeccable and worth way more than the $8/day we paid for it! Every time we requested something, we had it within minutes. The hotel has a great location, right on the beach. The pools were nice and warm on breezy nights, with close access to a restroom that came in handy with our little one in tow! I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Myrtle Beach. The price was perfect -- a great value!


• Customer Service At Its Finest!

May 1, 2011 - Your front line is the front desk, from the moment we walked in we were greeted by Shelene with an awesome smile. There was a small issue with the room description that could have become a major issue if not for the calming voice and smile by Shelene. She told us she would take care of it she knew we were tired from our 14 hour drive with two teenage boys and not to worry! WOW we couldn't have been more pleased honestly I cried tears of joy when I saw the room we were going to stay in for the week.
Housekeeping was very good as well, the only thing I would even think of changing would be to have a more consistent time when cleaning the room. Housekeeping came early in the morning to 6:00 pm. I personally like to be gone when the cleaning is being done and it made it difficult to plan when you don't know when they are coming. All in all the absolute best vacation we have ever taken. From arrival to departure! THANK YOU SO MUCH!


• We Had An Excellent Time and Can’t Wait to Return to Your Resort

Apr 27, 2011 - I would like to thank the entire staff at your resort. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful with everything. Everyone from the front desk to the bellhop to the housekeeping staff was amazing. My older children got there three hours before me and I greatly appreciate your staff treating them with complete kindness and looking out for them until I arrived. Terry the guy that took our bags up to our room was wonderful. He made several trips up there because we arrived from several different places. He was extremely kind and helpful. Housekeeping was amazing. We needed extra pans to cook Easter dinner and they brought them to us and always made sure we had enough towels, trash bags and everything. Thank you soooo much for allowing us to have a wonderful Easter weekend. We have stayed with you before and will definitely be back.


• Great Stay

Apr 23, 2011 - Very nice Hotel quiet could use a service elevator for employees they tie the elevators up in the morning. Our room wasn 't cleaned or made up the 2nd day we stayed, but they gave us clean towels the house keepers were gone fore the day. But the next day was just fine. Great stay.
