• Great Place to Stay Will Stay Again Next Year!

October 20, 2011 - Camelot was great, they had plenty of parking, the rooms were HUGE, the view was amazing. We stayed on the penthouse level which I would request again the view was amazing! The staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The pool area was awesome, our 5 year old loved all the pools and tube river. We liked it too since the water was warm! The rooms were Big, clean, and comfortable. We will be staying a full week next year since we had such a pleasant stay this time!


• Great place to stay!

October 10, 2011 - Our stay at Camelot was very enjoyable. Parking was very convenient and the front desk staff was quick to answer any questions. Our condo felt just like home. The pool, lazy river and hot tub were all up and running and there is a great grassy area to lay out in the sun. It was nice to be so close to the piers and the Boardwalk attractions. We will definitely stay there again!


• Nice oceanfront room

September 19, 2011 - This was our first stay at the Camelot By the Sea Resort. The location is great - short walk to the boardwalk, close to stores and some restaurants. We used the car once during our stay. We stayed in a ocean front studio. Decent size room. Room was kept clean and they even washed the dishes! The pool areas were kept clean. Staff were very friendly. The hotel offers umbrella and chair rentals but you set up yourself. However, one staff did carry the umbrella and chairs to the beach and put the anchor in the sand - very nice. The parking garage attached to the hotel is nice and convenient. We initially had a room on the 2nd floor but our view was obstructed by a tree and you can hear people around the pool area from your balcony. We requested a room on the upper floor - 10th..which worked out well. The view was great. Staff changed our room easily and quickly. The negatives - some parts of the hallway and door to room appeared worn out, the wall had area where it was patched up but not painted, lazy river wasn't heated. But, I feel that the positives outweigh the negatives and I will definitely stay here again.


• First trip to Myrtle Beach

August 22, 2011 - The Camelot was centrally located. It was within walking distance to the board walk, many restaurants, grocery store, mini-marts and beach stores. Our room was very clean. The cleaning staff was very friendly. We needed wash cloths and they were brought up to our room quickly. The beach was right outside our door. Having several pools to choose from was nice, but they were very noisy. We preferred the beach. This was our first time at the Camelot and we would definitely stay again.


• Best hotel we have ever stayed at!

August 9, 2011 - We took our family vacation at the Camelot...It was the perfect place for our family...the rooms were big..especially the bathroom...the location was the best..easy to get to all things...the pools were great (huge)..this hotel give you discounts on beach chairs...help you book excursions..the staff was over the top at being friendly and helpful...the carpet in the room was a little worn but that was the only negative thing I found. Can't wait to come back to the Camelot!


• Nicer inside than it looks outside

July 27, 2011 - Hallways on the parking garage with walls and doors that were filthy, so the first impression was not positive. The 2 bedroom suite was nice once we were inside, and the ocean balcony was delightful, although the bedroom window didn't open and a sign said not to leave the sliding door open, so couldn't listen to the surf from inside. Furniture was a bit worn and the carpeting was a little greasy and dirty-turned our feet black so we wore our flip flops inside. Kitchen was nicely stocked, and housekeeping was good, and the washer/dryer in the unit was a nice feature. Right on the beach and good location, but not as upscale as I'd like for the price.


• Just what we were looking for

July 2, 2011 - Family of 4 had a perfect vacation. We loved Camelot - it's right on the water (one of the nicest hotels there, I think). Every room has a balcony overlooking the ocean. It was really quite a value, especially since it included a really good water park not too far away. The adventure park was a hit with the younger child, but it is much more geared to the younger kids than for teens. The weather report that we got ahead of time forecasted rain every day, and we ended up having perfect weather... so don't ever let that deter you! We (the grownups) stayed on the pullout couch, so we had our own room away from the kids, but the mattress on the pullout couch could use replacing - you could feel every bump and coil!


• It was amazing, definitely the best option out there

June 30, 2011 - We stayed here for a girls' week. A couple sisters, a cousin, and a couple friends of the fmaily. There was plenty of room and plenty to do! This was the bext place for the money we had to spend. We loved that there was upper-level parking so we could walk right to our room from the parking garage. We were right on the beach. We spent a lot of time in the lazy river. We will definitely be back!


• Great place to stay & great location!!

May 9, 2011 - The Camelot is a nice place to stay. Staff is very nice and house cleaning is accommodative and polite. The Camelot is convenient for taking cheap taxi cab rides to local bars and Restaurants. All of the rooms at Camelot are beachfront and close to Broadway at the beach and other shopping locations.


• Excellent Choice for Young Family, Great Location Convenient to All

Apr 23, 2011 - Excellent service, clean room with excellent view to the ocean. Also within close proximity to all of the top spots. The kids loved the lazy river and the accessibility to the beach. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for an upgrade to LCD TV's, they will go great with the already free tv channel lineup.


• Another Great Vacation at Camelot

Apr 19, 2011 - A very clean and well maintained hotel. It is a non smoking faciltiy. All units are ocean front and well appointed. Nice pools and hot tubs both indoors and out. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. We have stayed many times at Camelot and will certainly return again in the future.


• My Only Complaint Is the Pools

Apr 18, 2011 - The rooms were great, elevators fast, location good, but outdoor pools were not heated and it was cold around indoor pools. The last two days of our stay the windows were taken out around the indoor pools, so no one wanted to swim in them in the morning or at night because the air was cold. During the day when the adults wanted to be in the sun, the children wanted to be in the indoor pools because the outdoor ones were freezing. I will not stay here again unless the hotel heats the outdoor pools.


• The View From Our Condo of the Ccean, Was Beautiful

Apr 14, 2011 - The condo and service were perfect. We really liked the idea of being able to cook some meals. As mentioned above the view was perfect, breathtaking in fact but we didn't get a chance to swim in the ocean, probably it was too early in the year. This was during the period a few weeks ago when there were the threat of tornados. We had never visited Myrtle Beach before and were not sure what to expect. As seniors, we would have preferred something a little quieter but this was our choice of destination and not anything negative concerning Myrtle beach or you establishment. I think it would have been fine for a younger couple or family.


• Excellent Service! We Would Stay There Again

Apr 4, 2011 - The management and staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. They accommodated us by opening the fitness room earlier, bring fresh towels, roll away bed, and were available at any time. Definitely better service than we have received at bigger resorts at Myrtle beach. They really made us feel that we were welcome and not just a nuisance even though with our 6 kids we brought we did make use of the facilities. Even though our week was not so warm, the indoor pool and lazy river were perfect for the kids, and the hotel is only a few blocks away from the pier and lots of souvenir shopping. Our only negative comment was the cleanliness of the fold out couch in the living room was not the best. They did have flat screen TVs in each room for PS3 or DVD player hook ups available upon request.
