• Fun Stay

October 9, 2011 - I recently stayed at The Caribbean Resort with a couple of golf buddies. Our room was clean, and looked brand new. We asked our Housekeeper for extra towels on day one, and came back to our room after golf each day to find a spotless condo and a pile of extra towels in each bathroom. A few cold beers on the balcony looking at a fantastic view, rehashing the days good and bad shots is what makes a buddies golf trip to MB such a fun time.

The folks at The Caribbean treated us like family and everyone there always seemed to smile and say hello. This was our first time trying The Caribbean for our annual golf trip but it certainly won't be our last. See you again next year!!


• Great Property and Great Customer Service

September 26, 2011 - My husband and I came down for a much needed week of relaxation away from our very stressful jobs. While the weather wasn't the best that week the Caribbean itself more than made up for it. The covered pool let us stay dry while relaxing, enjoying the ocean and reading our books. Everyone, and I mean everyone, working at the property was professional, helpful and very friendly. Everyone went out out their way to make our stay the best possible. We received a call shortly after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved walking up and down the beach when the weather was nice. Going south you could see the big new ferris wheel and going north were all the beautiful private homes. We stayed in a 1 Bedroom suite in the Dominican Tower that also had a murphy bed in the living room. We loved sleeping on the murphy bed because we could hear the ocean by only cracking the sliding glass door just a tiny bit. We will definitely come back to stay at the Caribbean.


• Could not have asked for more…

September 10, 2011 - This resort was perfect. My husband and I literally tried to think of a negative to share about it, and couldn't think of anything. For us, it would have been more convenient (with kids) to have had an attached garage versus across the street, but even that didn't detract from our stay. The pools were always clean, as was the inside of the resort and the rooms. We didn't deal with the hotel directly, we rented from an owner, so I can't contribute much about the hotel staff, but we did deal with them to get our parking and pool passes and that went very smooth. The elevators were never an issue, and neither was finding a parking spot, a spot at the pool, etc...but I think that had a lot to do with going in September versus the busy season. We left around 7pm on a Friday, and there were quite a few ppl checking in at that time, but the resort had people in front of the building directing traffic, so that was helpful. We usually like to try out different resorts each time we vacation, but I think we finally found one that we will want to continue to visit year after year.


• What a GREAT place!!!

August 7, 2011 - My family of four vacationed there for 1 week and had a blast!!! The resort was very clean. They had 2 outdoor pools, 2 lazy rivers, 2 hot tubs, 1 indoor pool and a water slide. My kids had the best time between the pools and being right on the beach. There was also activities for kids and a babysitting night. The resort is about a 5 min drive to Broadway at the beach and the Boardwalk.


• BEST Hotel!! We will be back!!

July 20, 2011 - We just got back from a wonderful vacation at Carribean beach resort!! This resort has everything you could want. I have three children 4, 7 and 10!! The pools were great!! The water slide and water park was great!! We stayed in the Dominican tower!! Loved Loved Loved our room!! They were all ocean front and the room was very clean and a very clean and nice kitchen!! our kids loved it because they had their own area to sleep in with their own TV! We traveled with 4 other families and they made sure our rooms were all on the same floor and next to each other!! The maids came in everyday to clean!! I recommend this hotel for people with families!! It is not in a congested area! But it was close to everything!! There was plenty of room on the beach and we could always find chairs at the pool!! We will be back to this hotel on our next visit!! There is no need to look at anyplace else to stay!!! You will not be disappointed!!


• Great Vacation

June 13, 2011 - My husband and I recently stayed at The Caribbean Resort and Villas in Myrtle Beach, SC. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. We both would highly recommend The Caribbean Resort. The entire staff was exceedingly courteous and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The hotel has excellent amenities. We could not have asked for more. We definitely will be going back!


• I Love This Place!!

May 24, 2011 - The Caribbean is a wonderful resort to visit! The staff are so nice and are ready to meet all of your needs. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The pool areas are very family friendly and are immaculate. The location is very convenient to all of the Myrtle Beach places you may want to visit. I would recommend this place to everyone that I know! I visit this place at least twice every year and always look forward to coming back for a great time!


• Like a home away from home!

May 11, 2011 - We stayed in a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom privately owned condo with a full kitchen. On the 6th floor. It was awesome! The condo was so big we could have lived there! The location of the resort is fantastic...ocean front...close to Broadway at the Beach and many restaurants. The outdoor pool was great...the indoor pool not so much. The beach is gorgeous! We will DEFINITELY be back!! Great vacation!


• Great Family Resort

May 3, 2011 - My family and I were very pleased with the Caribbean Resort & Villas. We stayed in the Dominican Tower on the 10th floor and had a well kept comfortable room. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for our short vacation. The beds were clean and comfortable, our only complaint was that the air conditioner blows right onto the bed and there is no way to adjust the direction of the air. We had a great view of the ocean and the pool below. The balcony was just right to sit on and watch the sunrise. The staff were helpful and curteous. This was a perfect place for a family to stay. Our 3 and 4 year old loved the kiddie pools and the teenager liked the larger pools. We were pleased that this place didn't seem like a party place and the night life was relatively quiet. We will be coming back.


• Great Time and Hotel!

Apr 27, 2011 - The Caribbean resort was a great place for a family vacation. Very friendly staff. My teens did get stuck on the elevator and figured maybe I would get comped but only a call from the manager. Fire department had to come to get them out! Other than that the atmosphere was fine with lots of friendly people by the pool and beach. Weather being great didn't detract either. Room was cleaned but wife lost her credit card and not sure if maid took it or not but had to cancel it.


• Nice Room But Outdated

Apr 23, 2011 - Went to this hotel because it was rated so highly by TripAdvisor. It was centrally located on thebeach and the front desk was very helpful. The beach was nice and the view of the ocean was magnificent. But the people in the room beside ours continually allowed the door to slam shut. We complained to the front desk and they called the people both times. I'm pretty sure of this because each time we complained the door was slammed more frequently.

Part of this was due to the fact that the doors were of an industrial type with a strong hinge. Unless you were careful to shut the door behind you it would slam shut. It upset my family so much that we considered asking for another room. It definetely put a damper on the vacation.

The room amenties were also dated. A couple of the interior door knobs were loose and the toilet handle stopped working on the second day we were there. Maintenance quickly took care of this when we told them about it. Housekeeping was excellent.

Getting into the room was awkward since the bedroom is located at the exterior door. An unusual layout in that if you have guests they enter the suite at the bedroom and have to walk through it to get to the living area.


• Couldn’t Have Been Better!

Apr 16, 2011 - This was my family's second year staying here. We have loved it both times. The hotel is right on the beach. The pools are very nice, and my boys loved the new water slide. Our room had a bedroom with 2 double beds, a full kitchen and a living room with a pull down bed. The pull down bed wasn't great, but the double beds were very comfortable. There was a nice flat screen tv in the living room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.


• They Go Above and Beyond to Make You Happy

Apr 15, 2011 - I loved this place. I lost my favorite pillow from home somewhere in the housekeeping pick up...and they located my pillow AFTER I had already left and was back home in Ohio and told me they found my pillow...and then they even shipped it back to me...this pillow is like a good pair of jeans...once you find a good one you wear it out...they could have just thrown my pillow away and went on with their day but they didn't. Someone actually took the time to call me and tell me they found it and confirmed my address and shipped it back to me at no additional cost! I know it sounds crazy over a pillow...but when you get limited sleep because of a baby...the sleep you do get is priceless.
