North Beach PlantationCourtesy of TripAdvisor Reviews for North Beach Plantation of Myrtle Beach
October 24, 2011 - We stayed at the North Beach Plantation twice in 2011 and loved every second. Everything we needed was in the room or nearby. The rooms were immaculate and the views spectacular. The pools were beautiful although we opted not to swim as it was early in the year and still cold outside. Parking was convenient in the deck which made it easy to get back to our room. We can't wait to visit North Beach again next year! October 2, 2011 - We rented room room 707, a two bedroom condo in mid-September. The property was great and didn't disappoint. The condo was spacious and well appointed with ample furniture, TV's, and appliances. Everything was clean and in good condition. Balcony's were large and comfortable and the view from the Indigo tower was great and provided a view of the coast line. Elevators were quick and efficient. Pools were plentiful and several but not all, were heated. Drink prices were about $8. We brought out own drinks in a cooler and were not bothered by staff making it more affordable and enjoyable. The beach was clean, ocean was warm and there isn't much traffic, at least this time of year. There were just enough people at the resort & beach so that it didn't feel empty but also not too many so that you were having a tough time getting seats. The only improvement I'd recommend is making towels more plentiful/available. By the end of the day they were hard to come by. We had a great time and had very few complaints overall. Would definitely come back or recommend to others. Also, we recommend talking Jessica Gessner at the front desk, she was very helpful. Work out facilities were immaculate but offered no free weights. September 28, 2011 - Once again we had a wonderful stay at North Beach Plantation. My family absolutely loves the accommodations and friendliness of the staff. Our only downfall this year was the unavailability of a 5-Bedroom condo. Management did find us a 3-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom side by side but our preference was the 5 Bedroom Charleston we stayed in the year before. Loved the health club, however, small but it had everything needed for a great workout! No other place compares- North Beach Plantation is one of a kind! August 14, 2011 - What a beautiful resort! Well appointed condos with top notch fixtures, plenty of room and ocean front. Each condo is individually owned but managed by Northbeach. The pools are plentiful, pristine and beautiful. Take advantage of early or late in the season specials otherwise you will likely pay much higher rates. This is our "go to" vacation spot in Myrtle Beach! July 4, 2011 - North Beach Plantation provided outstanding facilities and service that just made our vacation. From million dollar views to friendly staff and management, this was a vacation we'll never forget. The 2 BR unit we stayed in was spacious and exceptionally well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beachfront pool complex is beyond compare...14 pools/jacuzzis and even a "lazy river" for the kids. Grounds were well kept and restaurants offered sumptuous meals...from breakfast to dinner. Fitness center and SPA first class all the way! Advice and recommendations for local restaurants were spot on and assistance with golf reservations could not have been better. Best vacation spot this family has visited in years and that includes two cruises...we really enjoyed ourselves and were sad to see the week come to an end! June 26, 2011 - This was our first stay in North Myrtle Beach. The resort exterior was as beautiful as it was in the picture. The kitchen was great for cooking meals in and the granite counter tops gave it a touch of class. The rooms had very nice beds and furniture. The double room's master bath was gorgeous and my wife loved it. The hotel staff was excellent and provided for our every need. We and another couple staying with us made use of their state-of-the-art gym. We did not use the spa, but we may next time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back again. Note: The entrance is next to Barefoot Landing!! June 8, 2011 - My husband and myself were very fortunate to be able to spend our vacation at North Beach Plantation. Everything about the North Beach Plantation for us was absolutely perfect. Golden service, clean, picturesque and what's not to love about the beach. Made use of the fitness center which has awesome equipment and the on site 21 Main Restaurant was delicious with great service. It is a resort fit for a king and queen. Hope to visit again next year and perhaps a future place to live. Did not have time to experience the spa, but will definitely will be a must next time. May 23, 2011 - As someone that has been to the Myrtle Beach area more than ten times this is by far the best hotel in the area. What makes it great? The rooms are wonderful, with updated furniture, comfortable beds you will be able to relax inside and outside of your rooms. The pool area is so nice, you do not feel crowded because there are enough pools and chairs to make you feel like you are in a resort in the Caribbean. Do yourself a favor and stay here next time you come to Myrtle Beach. May 4, 2011 - This was our 2nd visit to North Beach Plantation, and it is still awesome.... We reserved a 2 bedroom and got there and got the 3 bedroom penthouse suite. It was awesome. beautiful View and fabulous location and spotless. Could not ask for more. I tell everyone go go go.... No parking fee's, easy access in and out. Don't hesitate just book your vacation here and enjoy! Apr 29, 2011 - I have to say. "This hotel was one of the best looking hotels i have ever stayed in" The room was great, clean, lots of things you would find at home. gas stove, jacuzzi tub. Also had a washer & dryer but i did not use. There was also a threatening storm in myrtle beach( that hit the rest of the carolinas, the first storms) so the outdoor pool was basically shutdown, plus it was cool during the time we were there. I have recommended this place to others. Only suggestion i have is the need of a small business center. Apr 26, 2011 - Was there with a group of women and children. Very nice place with great pool but didn't get to spend time on the beach or the nice pools because we had several vehicles and one of them got the back glass busted out and robbed in the middle of the day in the parking deck. Spent half our day dealing with that instead of playing on the beach with grandchildren. Nobody at the security gate until 7p.m. so anyone can drive in. We went to dinner that night and when we can back into the parking deck, saw 16-17 year olds riding bikes up and down the deck and also saw a guy just leaning up against his car with no parking pass on the mirror. Just being only women in our group, was a little nervous to go into the parking deck alone. Never have heard anything from NBP about the break-in. I thought they would have called to let us know if they saw anything on video or just to see that the window got fixed, but no. Just thought it would be considerate to do that but I guess not to them. So if you visit this place, don't leave anything of value in you vehicle because the security is lacking a lot. Apr 19, 2011 - Wow! This is definitely the nicest place I have ever stayed in. The lodging was so beautiful. All the decor made me want to come back and redo my house! We didn't use the beach except for walking because it was cold. (we went in February) However, we loved the lazy river and hot tub. Last year's reviews were addressing the loud crowds that gathered at the pool. Assuming that management did as promised, this will no longer be a problem. The only down side? The parking spots are pretty short- hard to get into and out of. It sure won't stop us from going back, though. Apr 19, 2011 - We had a wonderful trip to North Beach Plantation. We stayed in the Towers which had beautiful views!! The ONLY negative thing about this place was that it had no Grills on site so we could not cook out. I would love to go here again, but if we did, we would need to bring a grill!! Apr 10, 2011 - Let me just say as an avid World traveler, that I have stayed in some pretty spectacular places. I must say that it really doesn't get any nicer than North Beach Plantation. The property is immaculate, the rooms are beautiful and I found the staff to be more than accommodating. Jessica, the day manager, is great and worked with me on schedule changes. The pools are very nice and since it was still a bit cool out, the indoor pool and lazy river were big hits! Very close to great restaurants and shopping. If you are looking for a property in North Myrtle, you should definitely not pass up an opportunity to stay here!
