• New customer for life!

October 25, 2011 - My family and I have vacationed at Myrtle Beach for years and years now. This was the first time staying at this resort and we couldn't have been happier! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort was clean and kept up. The room was very nice and clean. The price was better then any other place I could find with the same amenities. Will be back year after year!


• Home away from home

October 6, 2011 - We have a 16 year old "baby" that could not be left at home. Searching for a pet friendly hotel online, Ocean Park Resort appeared to be our best option. We assumed the resort would be less than desirable, but were willing to give it a try regardless so that we could have our dog with us. We were pleasantly surprised. Although the hotel was not new, it was clean and boasted of amenities that were common to higher priced properties. The service was EXCELLENT and was surpassed only by the friendliness of the staff. Truly, everyone was so kind...including the many guests we encountered during our stay. So...if you are looking for a welcoming hotel at a good value where your pet will feel at home and you will be surrounded by friendly people, select Ocean Park Resort.


• Our first trip there but not our last!

September 24, 2011 - This was our first trip with our 1 year old puppy. These guys were all about the pets. It is older than sum but was clean and well kept. The staff was absolutely incredible! The only thing I might say is it was time for new appliances in our room the stove was really old but I wouldn't care if it hadn't worked at all I would still go back and recommend these guys to everyone. If you travel with a pet that is important to you this is your place because your pet is important to them as well. The staff ROCKS!


• Another wonderful stay!!

August 26, 2011 - We enjoyed the Ocean Park so much the first time, we decided to go back. It was just as nice as our first trip. The service was great and the room was nice and clean. The only thing that had changed since our last visit was the dog area. It was no longer filled with sand, it was now filled with dirt and grass. I prefered the sand so I inquired about the change, They stated that it was better maintained this way and to my surprise they also stated that there were some dogs that simply didn't like the sand. Therefore they decided to go with a more natural area. I can understand this decision. After all, being a pet lover, I definitely want all pets to be comfortable in their area. Ocean Park will always be our first choice when visiting Myrtle Beach. Thank you Ocean Park!! We look forward to seeing you again!


• Will DEFINITELY be back!

August 19, 2011 - The staff was fantastic - every one of them both friendly AND helpful. Brought our two dogs with us and was never made to feel anything but welcome with them there. Effortless check-in and check-out - always a place to park - great flexibility on their part when I extended our initial stay for another three days. Neighboring visitors friendly and NOT a bunch of wild party animals. I un-reservedly recommend Ocean Park Resort to EVERYONE considering a vacation at Myrtle Beach.


• We had a really good time

July 30, 2011 - This hotel is kept very clean. We expected a big crowd of people to be there since we went in July but they definitely weren't overbooked. We had the pools and hot tubs to ourselves several times. The only negative is there isn't much shade and the hotel does provide chairs and umbrellas--for a fee, which i think is kind of ridiculous. Aside from that we have no complaints. We would definitely think about returning to this hotel if we decided to return to Myrtle Beach.


• Great hotel on the beach for family and pets!

July 7, 2011 - We stayed here 5 days in late June in a one bedroom suite. You could sleep 5-6 people. Large and comfortable. Great kitchen. Balcony is nice with great view. Outdoor pool and massive whirlpool are great. The beach is clean and you can rent chairs and umbrellas. Laundry room is good. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and mini-golf. Our cat loved it too. Free internet and parking.


• I love your hotel!!!

June 23, 2011 - This was my second stay at Ocean Park Resort and was even better than the first stay. The staff are very friendly and the accommodations were very pleasing. I am a pet owner and bring my pet with me usually. This trip was planned for him to be accommodated at the hotel but a last second change and he was boarded instead. I was still in the same room that would be for pet owner and have to say I would never even know that pets are allowed at this Hotel. My room was so clean I could not ask for more. I also feel that the price is very reasonable and was surprised that it included free tickets to a very fun water park. Over all I give this Hotel a 10 star rating and plan to stay at Ocean Park Resort again.


• We love it and will be back soon

June 19, 2011 - We stayed in room 204, we loved this room, except for the beds!!!! The beds were like sleeping on a very hard lumpy board. We hope that the owners of this unit will upgrade the bedding. We have already booked again for Thanksgiving. And hopefully a few weekends in between now and then. We love Ocean park!!!! We have stayed here for several years and hope to continue, to stay here!!!!!!


• The Staff Was Friendly, the Room Was Clean and the Pools and View Wonderful

May 2, 2011 - I liked the layout of the facilities, the pools and spas were busy but did not feel crowded. The location and access to the beach was set up wonderfully for all guests. I will bring my dog with me next time because it really was dog friendly. The room was quiet and restful, you would never know that dogs were in rooms nearby.


• Very Nice Hotel for the Price on the Beach!

May 1, 2011 - This hotel was really nice for a very good price. It is a little further South from all the attractions but if your going just to the beach then this is a really good place to go for the price. It is Pet Friendly but their is a weight limit on your pet of no more then 20lbs. I will say tho there were alot of people who had heavy dogs that exceeded the weight but honestly it did not bother me at all as long as the dogs were friendly. There is an indoor and outdoor pool which was great because we did stay one day on a very windy and rainy day so the indoor pool was great for my kids. I also went with my brother and sister in law so the layout of the room, we had was great. There were two Queen beds in the front of the room divided by the kitchen which had a door on both sides and then the sofa with a murphy bed was on the end with balcony to view the beach. The hotel did not smell like pets which is hard to find for a pet friendly hotel. The service was great and what I loved most was the entire building was Smoke Free. You were not allowed to smoke anywhere on the property so there was no smell. We liked this hotel allot and plan on staying there again.


• Ocean Park Was Wonderful! The Indoor Pool Was Awesome and Staff Was Friendly

Apr 22, 2011 - I can not say enough about Ocean Park! My kids loved the indoor pool and me and my hubby enjoyed the hot tub! The view of the ocean was incredible! The resort was clean and staff was friendly and eager to help. Next time we vacation in Myrtle beach we are deffently going back to Ocean Park resort!


• Never Again

Apr 14, 2011 - Housekeeping needs LOTS of improvements. When we first checked in we had to get cleaning supplies from the front desk to clean a very dirty sink. There was a chair in the room that needed to be thrown in the trash it was dirty and used up. In the bathroom was used shampoo left by the housekeeping staff from the hotel for the next guest. We had a pet friendly room and there are nicer kennels out there than this room was.


• Great Place to Stay

Mar 28, 2011 - Enjoyed our 2 months at the Ocean Park. Great location on the beach. The outdoor and heated indoor pool and hot tubs only added to the enjoyment of our family and friends who came to visit us. There were lots of lounge chairs available for sunbathing. Staff are very friendly and made us feel like part of their family. Kitchen was well equipped and making meals was easy and cleanup with dishwasher made cooking fun. Computer in main lobby allowed us to print off coupons for local stores and restaurants. Special thanks for Mike and Kim for all their help in making our trip special. We will definitely be returning to Ocean Park again.
