• Wonderful Hotel

October 1, 2011 - This place was great...we checked in this hotel after checking out of a slum hotel...at the last minute we called to get room...we were more than happy with this hotel..beautiful room..nice staff..and the price of the room included a free breakfast buffet...I highly recommend this hotel...Only regret was not checking in this hotel first...but we live and learn...The room was beautifully furnished and a complete kitchen. Even though we werent ocean front we had a side view of the Ocean...We will stay here again..I didnt get any pics of the inside..only out...but its a great hotel...you wont be sorry if you book it!!!


• Relaxing vacation at The Palace Myrtle Beach

September 20, 2011 - One Word Says IT ALL>>>>> "Great"... From The Indoor Parking that leads right to the lobby for easy loading & unloading to the clean life guard beach.. These Folks don't miss a step... We had a 2 Bedroom Condo that was nice & clean.. Couple Tweaks that were handled Immediately.. The security staff was Efficient With A dominant presense.. Very secure.. Our Room was cleaned daily although my 14 yr old & Friend who slept till noon made IT Difficult some days... Pools & hot tubs cleaned daily and the free breakfast buffet Was Great (ate too much..Lol).. And last of all, but not least was the front Desk... These folks took their time to help everyone including people looking for a place to stay when the Palace was sold out... Thanks for a great vacation & May God Bless You.


• Will stay here again

September 14, 2011 - The Palace is a bit outdated but overall a good place and easy on the budget for what you get. We had a ocean front sun suite that was very nice and cosy.. The house keeping staff not the best but we made due. John at the front desk is the most helpful and friendliest person you would ever meet. I hope this helps someone that is deciding on staying here or not. Our trip was very good and our experence here was all great.. thanks John & Ebony for all you did for us.

September 12, 2011 - I have stayed here several times and never been disappointed, The staff is wonderful, the rooms are spacious and clean. Nice views from the balcony in every direction and there is always room in the pools or hot tubs. Breakfast is the same everyday and offers hot options. I would recommend for families as well as couples.


• Will stay here again without a doubt!

August 22, 2011 - We just got back from staying there and had a GREAT experience. As many others, after reading the other reviews I was scared to stay here and also called but was assured if I wasn't happy they would take care of it. We arrived way before check in time and they allowed us to check in! The parking was great, we had no issues there. The staff were BEYOND friendly! The elevators were fine, going down they seemed a little slow but we were on the 5th floor so if we were in a hurry to get to the beach we walked down. Going up we never waited more than 5 minutes. The room was clean and came with awesome accommodations, we stayed in 501. The view was amazing!! The breakfast was great, we both enjoyed it! We will definitely come back!!

August 10, 2011 - I have to admit I was a little leery after reading the reviews for this hotel. I made three calls and talked to them about their reviews and they assured me my room would be nice. Each of these rooms are owned by different owners. They seem to have problems with a couple of owners. As I was there several of the rooms were "shut down" and the owners were carrying supplies up to fix the room. I was in room 412. It was great. It was extremely clean. John and Ebony were very helpful with our concerns and extremely upbeat. The lobby was super clean. There were two pools and several hot tubs. The hot tubs could use some repairs but they were clean. The only issue I really had was the elevators. Three elevators with 23 floors leaves a sometimes long wait. I recommend staying on a floor that you are capable of taking the stairs. I also recommend when you book that you call the hotel directly. Don't go through another agency. I would stay here again.


• Loved It

July 28, 2011 - I have been to Myrtle Beach many times. The Palace was a great value. The Palace is in a great location. We had a 2 bedroom unit with 2 full baths. The kitchen was huge with a bar counter. Nice living room with lots of windows. Nice snack bar, great pool. Nice Parking garage. I highly recommend this hotel.


• Wonderful resort!

July 24, 2011 - My family and I had an incredible stay at The Palace Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. The staff at the front desk as well as the housekeepers we interacted with were wonderful. Everyone cared that we totally enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be returning for Labor Day weekend. I highly recommend this resort for anyone coming to visit Myrtle Beach.


• Palace is Lovely

May 23, 2011 - I stayed at the palace resort and it is a wonderful hotel to stay in. The front desk staff was wonderful and Ebony at the front desk was very nice and polite. The palace resort has come a long way, I have stayed at this resort previously the housekeeping staff was excellent and cleaned my room everyday for my entire stay. I have recommended my family and friends to stay at this resort. I am surprise at all the bad reviews they received because most of them or not true. Lovely place will see the palace again next month.


• This place is good overall

Apr 5, 2011 - The pool is not heated and the hot tubs are not very clean. Everything needs to be updated. There is an inside hot tub on the 22nd floor and it is really nice. The pictures show there is an inside pool, there is not. I asked where it was and they said they had to take the awning off because it was not up to building codes!! We were able to choose our room and they all look pretty much the same. Choose a room on the south side if you do not want the sun to blare into your window, we had a room on the south side and I was thankful because the blinds did not make it any lighter in the room and just imagine the sun in the mornings!!! The breakfast was a buffet style and the 1 lady who cooked, cleaned, greeted, and served you was the nicest lady I have ever met. We gave her (directly) the best tip ever!!! Overall this place was good for the price, but it does need some serious spring cleaning.


• I love the Palace

Mar 8, 2011 - I have stayed at the palace every year since 2005 and I have not any major problems with it. I love this place. Yes the elevators are slow but overall that is the only issue I have it is condo with free breakfast and affordable for my family. I have stayed in the 1 bedroom. it is close to the sites and the staff is great, friendly. They have security guards their and they are always helpful. I always ask for lower floors in case in I have to use the stairs. We come along way for vacation and the palace is worth the drive. The only thing I will say is bring your own cleaning supplies, towels. They will come by and ask if you need cleaning but because I have kids I bring my own. They have laundry rooms on the floors. We are on a tight budget and if you need an affordable family vacation go to the palace look for the specials 800 for a whole week in the prime season is not a bad deal.


• I Love This Place!!

Feb 11, 2011 - We stayed here with my husband, my two teenagers and their friends. The room was well maintained, plenty of room and a great view! Check in was easy and the people were all friendly. The resort is well maintained although there can be a wait for the elevator in the mornings and evenings. The oceanfront poolside gives you the best of both worlds...listening to the waves without walking in the sand. I have already booked my room for this summer!!!


• One of the Nicest Affordable Places to Stay

Nov 26, 2010 - My husband and I have stayed there twice within 5 months. It offers so many amenities at such a reasonable price. We chose to stay there in November for our anniversary trip after spending time there in July. Cannot wait to return next May and hopefully 2 more times next year. The staff are excellent and it is so close to so many things that you will never get bored. Had 2 of my best times there twice this year and I would highly recommend!!!!!


• Clean Room, Friendly and Efficient Staff!

Oct 18, 2010 - Our room was clean, well stocked, and well decorated. There was plenty of space for 6 of us. The staff was helpful, and the amenities were typical of Myrtle Beach. The only reason I would only give this a 4 is because the appliances were not as updated as the rest of the condo, but they worked fine. The Palace was a good bargain and we will be back!
