• Love this Place!!

October 17, 2011 - Spent last week at the Paradise Resort Oct. 8-Oct. 15. I loved the place! Rooms where very clean and service was excellent. From check in to check out everything went great. Loved the ocean front view! My bed was very comfortable! My friends and me had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo lots of room! Kitchen had lots of pots pans and dishes for the times we ate in the room. We didn't eat at the restaurant so not sure about it. Parking garage was a little tight but I have seen worse in Myrtle Beach. Security everywhere felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again!


• Week at Paradise Resort in September

September 29, 2011 - This was our first time at this hotel. We usually stayed at another hotel nearby but the maid service declined so much over the past couple of years that we decided to try Paradise Resort. We stayed in a deluxe suite and were pleasantly surprised at the furnishings. Everything, including the furniture, looked new and well maintained. The kitchen area was well stocked with cooking utensils and even had an electric can opener and blender. The unit had a very efficient cooling and heating system - not the noisy vent things on an outside wall. The bathroom was very large and accomodated all our stuff very easily. The maid service was very good as we never saw them and our room was cleaned every day before we returned in the late morning. It did not have as many water attractions as other hotels in the area, but what they had was adequate. The outside heated pool was huge.

A few minor negative things - the lounging area near the pool does not have enough lounge chairs ( This would be a big problem in season). In the bathroom there are no grab bars in the tub which is very high off the floor and no non-slip mat in the tub which gets very slippery. The walls are thin and you can hear people talking in a normal voice in the next room. Check-in and out was very fast and efficient. All hotel workers that we came in contact with were pleasant.


• Outstanding vacation location

September 5, 2011 - We rented a four-bedroom condo here for the last two weeks of August, and couldn't be happier with the accommodations. Not only was the resort fairly new (five years old) and modern, it was also clean, well-staffed and offered all the amenities we could have asked for. An outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a lazy river and a hot tub gave us plenty of things to do right on the resort...and there were always plenty of chair and loungers to go around. The beach was wonderful, and we had some great conversations with lifeguard Peter! Guests at the Paradise can also use the pools and water slides at a neighboring resort, and our kids loved the change of scenery. Parking was also plentiful, unlike other MB resorts we've stayed at. Restaurants and attractions are anywhere from a five minute to twenty minute drive away, so don't expect to be able to park the car and walk everywhere. Free wi-fi worked throughout the hotel, but was not the most reliable...found we had to reconnect frequently. Overall, we loved this resort, and would consider going back.


• Amazing!

August 19, 2011 - My friend and I decided to take our kids to Myrtle Beach for a mini-vacation. I researched tons of hotels and decided on the Paradise because of price and accommodations. I was not disappointed! The Ocean suite accommodated our five children comfortably and had an amazing view of the ocean. The kitchen was clean and stocked and although the washer/dryer unit was beat up it worked fine. The activities at the pool kept the kids and us entertained and the poolside BBQ was delicious! I read a few reviews that commented on the service being slow, but I did not experience that. We received speedy service and everyone was super friendly! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!


• We were so thrilled!

August 2, 2011 - My friends and I stayed here over a long weekend. We were so thrilled when we saw how big our room was! We had a deluxe one bedroom suite, and it had a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, large bathroom, Murphy bed, and it faced the ocean. We loved having so much room so we weren't on top of each other. The double beds in the bedroom were sooooo comfortable! The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We loved having convenient beach access!

July 19, 2011 - My husband and I spent seven (7) nights here and were extremely happy with the overall cleanliness of the hotel and our room. The maintenance staff, housekeeping staff, front desk staff, restaurant staff and Tiki Hut staff were very helpful and courteous. This hotel is family oriented and they had many activities for the kids in the afternoon. My husband and I will definately being staying here for our next vacation.


• Great for families

June 19, 2011 - The hotel was very nice. We stayed in a room that had 2 full size beds plus a living room that had a couch and a pull out of the wall bed. So we could have brought a nanny or another family and it would have been nice. The bathroom was large! Our room had a dishwasher and washer and dryer which was awesome! The beach was awesome had a nice kid friendly pool area. Lazy pool was cool, not real big. The hotel was in a great location, we had a rental car though but never has to drive to far to get somewhere.


• We will be back

June 5, 2011 - First time there and won't be the last! Since it was built in 2006 everything is still fresh and new. No musty smelling elevators...of which there were 4 on every floor so you never were stuck waiting forever. Great to have a restaurant on site and Tiki Bar by the pool although we did not frequent either. The Lazy River was a great way to cool off while lying on the beach if you don't want the salt water...plus the ocean was a little cool in May. Had a little problem with our air conditioning at first but the maintenance crew was right on it and solved the problem promptly. The staff was helpful and friendly. Loved it!


• Great value and wonderful service.

May 13, 2011 - Stayed for 4 nights and I had a great time with wonderful service. Easy check in and room was nice. Beds are firm but I got used to it. Very clean and the pool area is well maintained. I spent most of my days in the pool area and always a staff member present. The Tiki bar near the pool was great for a quick drink. Grill was okay - I ate at Scoobys next door most days for lunch. The Sandals cafe is GREAT for breakfast. The staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend starring your day as I did everyday. Great experience and I will be back!


• Great Value

Apr 23, 2011 - Overall this is a very nice place to stay. We booked the trip because we saw a special online where the rates were cheap for an ocean view room. We were in one of the rooms that did not have an efficiency but it was still nice. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. It was ocean view from the side of the hotel but I was pleased with the view we had for the money. The only complaints I really have are that people smoke on the balconies so if you are a non-smoker like we are, it was not pleasant to try and sit on your balcony and smell smoke. Also, the rooms are not sound proof, the people above us sounded like they were coming through the floor. The rooms are clean but the beds are not very comfortable. The elevators can be a little slow at times also. The breakfast was nice and the pool area was clean and big. Overall we enjoyed our stay, just a few little things that bothered us as mentioned. The value for this hotel is great but since it is just me an my husband it is more of a family resort, but I would definitely go again.


• Great Place to Stay

Apr 12, 2011 - We really like this resort. This is the second time we have stayed there. We had an ocean front suite both times and it was perfect. Our suite was a one bedroom, one bathroom, fully furnished kitchen, dining area with table and chairs and living room. We had a TV in the bedroom and living room. The suite was decorated very nicely. The room was very clean as was the resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. Two days before our departure..the resort put all new pillow top mattresses in all the rooms. What a treat that was. There is a large outdoor heated pool, shuffle board and refreshment bar. Inside there is a lazy river, hot tub, and two smaller pools.... one of which is a kiddie pool. This resort has 1,2,3,and 4 bedroom condos.


• Awesome

Apr 9, 2011 - We loved this place! It was clean, quiet and had a beautiful beach. The price we paid was so cheap for what we got. Our room was cleaned every day and we were never bothered by the cleaning staff. Our only complaint is there is no Interstate to get to Myrtle Beach.


• Very Pleasant

Apr 7, 2011 - The staff was extremely friendly in all areas of the resort. We rented a 3-bedroom condo that was very spacious and clean, but the kitchen was lacking in some supplies that we are used to having provided in condo rentals. Be sure to ask very specific questions about what is provided if you plan on cooking & eating in for a meal. I would recommend this as a great value and a pleasant stay.


• Great Place to Stay

Apr 6, 2011 - The staff was helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms, as well as the entire resort, seems to have recently been renovated. The rooms were clean and attractive. The fitness room was nice. Excellent pools, lazy river and hot tub. Wonderful views of the beach and ocean. The breakfast at Sandals, which is located in the resort, was excellent. A buffet with cooked to order eggs and omelets. Dave the manager of Sandals cooks a mean omelet and was wonderful to talk to. Overall a great place to stay at the beach.
