This is a FANTASTIC place to stay. We had the three bed three bath unit. It is HUGE. VERY VERY CLEAN. It is one of the nicest places in Myrtle Beach. Friendly, clean and a great location. They have a indoor and outdoor pool, indoor lazy river and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. You will love the comfortable beds. Everything was so big and roomy. Nice kitchen. I cannot say enough good things about this place. 5 Stars.


• Home away from home

October 16, 2011 - The condo facility is always clean. The people working here are very helpful & knowledgeable of the local area. It is a great place to have a family get together or just relax by the pool. We have been in the spring, summer & fall & each time is as good as the last.


• Very pleasant

October 3, 2011 - The continental breakfast was a real plus, good food selection and Flo was WONDERFUL!!! Everything was great, the 3 bedroom oceanfront room was very spacious and nice. The pools, lazy river and hot tubs were very clean. The access to a water hose was great for spraying off our beach chairs therefore less sand being dragged back to the room worked better than just a shower. Appreciated the presence of security personnel in the parking garage at night. We loved our stay. Thank you.


• Good value!

September 27, 2011 - Seaside is a pretty good hotel for the price. Room was spacious and very clean. We had a two bedroom/two bathroom ocean view. The ocean view was WONDERFUL! It rained most of the weekend we were there, and was incredibly hot and humid between showers, so it was great to be able to sit comfortably in the air conditioned living room and watch the ocean when we weren't out shopping. Some of the furniture was in need of repair, but overall I was very pleased with the room. The parking deck located on the bottom four floors of the hotel is convenient, but extremely tight...if you drive anything larger than a compact car, I recommend parking in the parking lot directly across the street. There is even a ramp there to make wheeling luggage or the luggage cart over extremely easy. My top three criteria for a "great hotel" are cleanliness, safety, and a great shower...Seaside mostly delivers. Now, I'm sure you're asking why I consider this a "good hotel" instead of a "great hotel." The common areas of the hotel are not great....they're clean, but outdated and nothing special. The elevators and hallways are hot, humid, and there is an over-reliance on "beachy"-scented air fresheners. The beds are tolerable, but not super-comfortable. The only staff-member I saw the whole weekend was the lady at the front desk, and she was less than friendly. Not outright rude, but she acted as if she were completely overwhelmed, when I don't think the hotel was booked anywhere near capacity. But for the price, and when weighed against all of the good stuff about the hotel, I can simply accept these things and I will definitely return to Seaside again.


• Best Oceanfront 3BR Unit Anywhere!

August 10, 2011 - The Seaside 3BR corner units are fabulous! They are RIGHT on the ocean with the roar of the sea out front. The most unique quality though is the HUGE windows on the side of the unit that give a beautiful view all down the coast of the grand strand. You can literally view the curve of the entire coastline for miles. The master bedroom is ocean front and even the two back bedrooms have ocean views. The furnishings are clean & contemporary and very spacious. My parents stayed in an adjacent ocean front 2BR unit and it is NOT THE SAME. It is definitely worth spending a little more to get the 3BR corner unit, even if you do not need 3 bedrooms. This place also has a nice outdoor oceanfront pool and a covered lazy river and hot tub. The building is only 60 units so elevators are fairly quick and pool isnt' too crazy.


• GREAT RESORT

July 11, 2011 - This was our second trip to Seaside in Myrtle Beach, SC. We love staying there. I went three years ago and loved the fact I felt safe with the fact that my kids could go from the beach to the hotel pool. It's family oriented and there wasn't any partying where I felt I had to keep my kids at my side the whole time. It's a great location on the beach. It's peaceful and not so crowded as South Myrtle. Loved my time there and will visit again!


• Great resort made for a great vacation.

June 25, 2011 - Resort is located conveniently to many shopping areas and places to eat. Friendly staff. Parking garage is the only downside, it was too small and hard to get in and out of spaces. Other than that it was a wonderful experience. Right on the beach so we were able to go out for a swim without having to carry a lot of baggage. Will be staying here again next year!


• A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

June 4, 2011 - We just returned back home after a week in Myrtle Beach; as professionals we travel a lot but I was really pleased with the services and overall condition of the three bedroom condo we stay in at Seaside Resort. I was really impressed to see that our condo had three good sized bathrooms (master bedroom had a Jacuzzi :), and the condo was very clean. There was a flat screen television in all of the bedrooms and living room (which was really nice having a party of seven staying there on vacation). The hot tubs, workout room, lazy river and pool made it that much more enjoyable, as all of our family needs were meet. We will definitely be back to stay at SEASIDE RESORT as it made our vacation that much more pleasurable.


• Exceeded expectations, very impressed with the value we received

May 25, 2011 - We had stayed at another property and tried to book the other property for this trip; Seaside was recommended by the reservationist when the previous property was not available; what a good break for us; we liked Seaside better than where we had stayed before and we will definitely stay at Seaside in the future; we were very impressed with the value we received at Seaside; it was clean, convenient, quiet (except for the motorcycles), and well priced.


• A Nice Place to Stay

Apr 23, 2011 - We have been here before.....we like the fact that it is not a huge hotel, it's beachfront, has indoor parking, very clean, courteous staff, nice pool facilities, not overrun by kids but is still a family hotel. The only criticism is that I would prefer the living room furniture to be a little more comfortable.


• Great Property and Location

Apr 23, 2011 - Hotel is just the right size, not too large with too many people on the beach or at the pool. Elevators were quick, hotel was clean and well maintained. The parking garage is a little tight to drive around, spaces are fine but corners were tight. Nice continental breakfast. Room cleaning was thorough and at the convenience of the guest. Nice TVs and DVD players in bedrooms and living room. Great tub in master bath.


• Fantastic Family Location

• Enjoyed Our Stay at Seaside

Mar 27, 2011 - We enjoyed our stay at Seaside. We found it to be very clean and well managed. The two-bedroom suite was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable, however, I think the blankets could use an upgrading. Continental breakfast suited us fine, Flo was very pleasant and a joy to talk to each morning. We will definitely return to Seaside and have already recommended Seaside to friends and family.


• Mixed Reviews and Some Disappointment

Mar 5, 2011 - The pictures on line were obviously taken when SeaSide was brand new in 2006. My assessment is mixed. As for location & square footage (3 bedroom condo), the room is one of the best & the rate was unbeatable, but that is were it ends. The wear & tear the furniture has taken during that period has not held up. Fabric coverings looked dirty, furniture had scuff marks, the sheets in the master bedroom were turned the wrong way to be put on the bed. The master bath had a Jacuzzi tub, but no one would want to try & take a relaxing bath because the floor of the tub was cracked in several places and a the was a spot in the tub that felt like it was giving way. The countertop on the bar area in the kitchen dipped and was not straight. The doors to the washer & dryer room would not stay closed. There was no need to ask to be moved to another 3 BR because I heard the desk clerk tell the lady ahead of me that all the 3BR were booked. The living space was great, but we had 7 people in our party and the way the furniture was arranged there was only 1 couch in front of the TV. If you wanted to watch TV you had to sit @ the dinner table or @ the front of the condo near the balcony. We stayed in room 503 & the carpet in the hallway on that floor locked dirty, but the elevators always smelled fresh. If you attempt to furnish a room for as little cost as possible this it what happens over time. We have stayed at sister properties Towers on the Grove, Horizon on 77th & The Prince Resort and Seaside is our least favorite. This was our first "family" trip w/ my husbands family and I was disappointed because we had chosen the accommodations. I don't know what the other rooms look like, but I know what 503 looked like.
