Water Parks
Wet ‘n’ Wild in Myrtle Beach
Welcome to another sunny summer day in beautiful Myrtle Beach. Here your hardest day will be trying to decide which Myrtle Beach water park to go to. But then again you’ll be in Myrtle Beach for more than one day. So collect your brochures and let the navigation of fun begin.
Your journey will begin at the Family Kingdom Amusement Park. Here you’ll find yourself relaxing as you coast down a 425’ long lazy river. And when you’re finished drifting under waterfalls, you can hit one of the water slides. Tighten your shorts as you bullet down their speed slides which are highlighted by a 100’ drop. It’s everything you need in a water park and if you get tired of water you can dry off with an exhilarating ride on a rollercoaster.
Take a trip to Wild Water and Wheels Water Park. With 16-acres of fun has something for everyone in the family. For the adventurous type there’s the Free Fall Cliff Dive. You’ll cross your arms, clinch your teeth as you roar down the slider at 45 miles per hour. For the completive member of the family, he or she can battle out their aggression with bumper boats. For the easy going member, there’s a 950-ft lazy river. It’s the perfect place to reflect on all the fun as you drift through the rain forest, around Fog Island and under cascading waterfalls and two raindrop fountains. And when the day is coming to an end the whole family can shake off the h2o by speeding down one of the courses down at the Race Zone.
On your next adventure, splash into Myrtle Beach's largest water park, Myrtle Waves. Here you’ll dive into over one million gallons of water and thirty-two rides. Build up your fortitude and race a friend down the 350-ft Riptide Rockets. These twin flumes are the ultimate rush as you soar down 1,300 linear feet and become airborne right before your splashdown. And once you’ve conquered this tower, take on the Ocean in Motion Wave Pool. This 20,000 square foot pool goes from zero to six feet with and eight different kinds of waves which tower up to four feet high. But if this is too intense, check out Bubble Bay. You’ll enjoy a 7,000 foot leisure pool with three giant umbrella waterfalls and numerous bubble jets on the ages. It’s a full day of fun at one of Myrtle Beach’s best known water parks.
Take a day and visit one of the many great water parks that call Myrtle Beach home. Or never leave your site and stay in a hotel with a water park. Slide into the Dunes Village Resort, Caribbean Resort or Landmark Resort for all of your family’s water needs. The choice is yours. Make a splash in the water park that’s right for you.
