Grande Dunes Pro-Celebrity Golf Classic July 5 - 8, 2008 The Grande Dunes Pro-Celebrity Golf Classic helps fulfill the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina to grant wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions. National Father & Son Team Classic July 17 - 19, 2008 This three day golf event has become the largest father and son golf tournament in the world. PGA TOUR Superstore World Amateur Handicap Championship August 25 - 29, 2008 This event will attract almost 4,000 players from all 50 states and some 30 foreign nations for lots of fun, friendship, and most importantly, great golf. Players will have the chance to not only compete for over $500,000 in prizes, but the honor of being crowned the World Champion of Amateur Golf. The four-day competition takes place on over 75 of the Myrtle Beach area's championship courses, with each flight winner (and ties) competing in the Championship Round at the prestigious Dunes Club.
